Nichole Perez

Nichole Perez is a dedicated paralegal with 19 years of experience and a passionate advocate for children and families. She has served as a guardian ad litem in Hillsborough County for eight years and currently sits on the Foster Parent Council in Pasco and Pinellas Counties. As a foster parent for five years and the adoptive mother of seven children, Nichole has firsthand insight into the challenges families face when seeking consistent, high-quality therapeutic services. She founded Vera Path Therapy to create the kind of supportive, regulated care environment she wished existed for her own family. When she’s not working or advocating, Nichole enjoys adventure parks, beach days, and making memories with her kids at Disney.

Coryn Enfinger

Coryn is an entrepreneur, creative director, and longtime advocate for children and families. As the co-owner of Dark Cycle Clothing for over 15 years, she brings deep experience in branding, marketing, and small business operations. Coryn is a mother of seven through birth, foster care, and adoption, and has spent the last decade navigating the complexities of trauma-informed care and neurodiversity firsthand. She co-founded Vera Path Therapy to create the kind of clinic she wished existed—one that honors the whole family, blends clinical excellence with compassion, and supports both healing and hope. Coryn’s favorite days include a house full of people and music, a pot of something simmering on the stove, and a quiet moment in nature before the chaos begins again.

Speech-Language Pathologist

Deewye Franklin M.S., CCC-SLP

Dee is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Florida State University. She specializes in neuro-affirming speech and language therapy, feeding therapy, articulation, and early language development.

She has experience treating children from birth through age 21 with a wide range of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, language delays, articulation disorders, and complex developmental conditions.

Her approach is compassionate, individualized, and rooted in helping each child communicate in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing video games, and exploring local events and small businesses.

Physical Therapist & Clinical Director

Kim Conklin, PT

Kim is a licensed Physical Therapist in Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University. Since 1998, she has specialized in pediatrics, treating children from birth through age 21 with a wide range of neurological, orthopedic, and developmental diagnoses. She has also supported developmentally disabled adults through the Medicaid Waiver program.

Kim’s approach is rooted in collaboration and regulation-based care. She has worked alongside therapists with strong sensory integrative backgrounds and continues to deepen her expertise in reflex integration to better support children with persistent primitive reflexes.

As Clinical Director at Vera Path Therapy, Kim provides leadership and guidance across all therapeutic disciplines, ensuring every child receives thoughtful, individualized care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, gardening, biking, swimming, kayaking, and relaxing at the beach.

Toni Kirby

With over eight years of experience in child care, Toni specializes in supporting children with special needs, fostering growth, confidence, and connection with every child she serves. She is TBRI® (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) trained and brings a warm, grounded presence that helps build trust with both children and families from the very first moment.

At Vera Path, Toni plays a vital role in supporting regulation during therapy sessions. She steps in as needed to assist children through transitions or dysregulation, allowing therapists to stay focused on treatment and giving parents the peace of mind to truly relax in our Parent Lounge. Beyond sessions, she also supports clinic operations, maintains a sensory-friendly environment, and ensures families feel seen, supported, and safe.

Toni is passionate about making a lasting impact, helping children overcome challenges, celebrate their strengths, and feel empowered on their unique path forward. Her steady presence and heart for trauma-informed care make her an essential part of the Vera Path team.
